The alluring purplish-pink flowers of Yaku Prince actually age to a paler pink hue, and also feature extra character with a reddish-orange pattern on the dorsal petal. The ball-shaped trusses often hold ~14 flowers. This lovely dwarf hybrid rhododendron is hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill, does well in filtered to full sun, and usually blooms late midseason.
