Walker's Low Catmint (also Nepeta x faassenii) is a great summer perennial as it does well in full sun and boasts long-blooming lavender-blue flowers. However, like most plants it will do better with some afternoon shade, especially in areas with humidity.This exceptional plant is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. 

A favorite for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, it can grow to about 2' tall and spread to about 2' to 3' wide. Part of the mint family, this plant has subtly fragrant silvery foliage. Hardy to -25°F when protected from windchill. You will want to make sure to plant in well-draining soil.

Pro tip: Cut back blossoms after blooming to ensure beautiful color the coming spring through fall.
