Also known as Tom Thumb Cranberry Cotoneaser, this mounding shrub branches out with swooping foliage of small colorful leaves. Those leaves change to a bright burgundy red in the fall. This plant is easy to grow, is more tolerant of various soil types, and pruning is optional. It can grow to about 2' tall and 5' wide.

This plant is a good choice for adding textures and backdrop to other plants, rock gardens, borders, hedges, ground cover and mass planting. It likes full sun and is hardy to -25°F when protected from windchill.
