This lovely rhododendron hybrid is a yakushimanum cross with light pink flowers that fade to white as they age. It has exceptional glossy dark green (slightly bullate) foliage with teddy bear-brown indumentum on the undersides of its leaves. Blooms typically start to appear in April, depending on growing conditions. 

Teddy Bear is a dwarf cultivar with a nice growth habit that reaches around 3' tall x 3' wide at maturity. Place it in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
