If you want fragrance, this uncommon hybrid rhododendron is a must, when you can find it. The lovely pale pink and white blossoms come alive against the textured elliptic leaves. Even the buds are spectacular. Give full sun to partial shade and watch for first blooms around April. Afternoon shade is advisable for hot climates. Suave can grow to 5' tall at maturity. It is hardy to 10°F when protected from windchill.
