Rocky Knoll Farm

St. Dabeoc's Irish Heath 'Atropurpurea' - Daboecia cantabrica

Also known as Connemara Heath, this lovely evergreen shrub has sensational rose-purple 'Atropurpurea' flowers. Blooms can be prolific from May and into October, depending on growing conditions. The blossoms adorn rich green, and somewhat twiggy, attractive foliage. This special heath is very hard to find but we a proud to offer it at Rocky Knoll Farm (when we can keep it in stock)!

St. Cabeoc's Irish Heath is easy to grow and will do well in full sun to partial shade. It grows to about 16" tall x 28" wide, and requires well draining soil. Hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill
