Spiraea vanhouttei

Also known as Bridal Wreath Spiraea (or Vanhoutte Spiraea), this exceptional deciduous shrub features prolific beautiful white blossoms starting in spring. This fast growing plant is low maintenance and great for hedges, borders and foundation plantings. It reaches up to 8' tall x 10' wide at maturity, depending on growing conditions. 

Spiraea vanhouttei is native to the United States and Canada, and is loved by butterflies everywhere. It is deer resistant and likes full sun. We recommend planting in well-draining soil to establish its roots, and pruning right after blooming. Cold hardy to an impressive -35°F when protected against windchill.
