Slim B (RKF exclusive)

This registered hybrid by the late Slim Barrett has been cultivated exclusively by Jack Olson of Rocky Knoll Farm for a quarter of a century. This will be one of the nicest plants in your garden. The foliage is dark green with an incredible shine, and it gets loads of compliments from rhododendron lovers and plant enthusiasts alike. This hybrid is exclusive to Rocky Knoll Farm and propagation is strictly prohibited.

It can grow to 5' tall over time. A cross of R. bureavii x Favia, with lovely mid-spring coral to pink blossoms adorned by red freckle pattern. Hardy to 15° F when protected from windchill, it will do best in partial shade to full sun. Avoid afternoon sun in warm climates. Like most rhododendrons, you will want to plant in well draining soil (preferably acidic). Our Starter Soil Kit is perfect for this plant and will help it to thrive.
