Rich purple-red ruffled blossoms stand out against bright evergreen foliage of the lovely Royal Robe hybrid azalea. A great dwarf varietal with low compact and rounded growth pattern. This azalea is a cross between Helen Close and Purple Splendor.
Blooms usually show around mid to late May. Royal Robe grows to around 2' to 3' tall x 3' wide at maturity. Hardy to 0° F when protected from from wind chill.
