Rich purple-pink ruffled blossoms stand out against bright evergreen foliage of the lovely Royal Robe hybrid azalea. A great dwarf varietal with low compact and rounded growth pattern with prolific blooms. This azalea is a cross between Helen Close and Purple Splendor. It was hybridized right here in Oregon by Bill Guttormsmen.
Blooms usually show around mid to late May. Royal Robe grows to around 2' to 3' tall x 3' wide at maturity. Hardy to 0° F when protected from from wind chill.
