Origanum 'Rosenkuppel' ornamental oregano

$26

Rosenkuppel oregano has brilliant and prolific clusters of violet red buds that open to purple-pink blooms throughout summer and fall. Butterflies love this ornamental and aromatic perennial, yet it is deer resistant. We love this beautiful plant and it is no surprise that it is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.

Easy to grow and low maintenance, you can use Rosenkuppel oregano in urban gardens, rock gardens, borders, containers, meadows, slopes, beds and cut arrangements. Drought tolerant once established, this plant can grow to 2' tall x 2' wide. It loves full sun and requires well-draining soil. We recommend trimming spent blooms, and you can prune to wood stems in early spring (after the last frost) to promote a burst of new growth. Hardy to -20°F when protected from windchill.
