R. occidentale 'Big Frilly'

$36

Big Frilly is a special deciduous azalea that puts on a spectacular display with its colorful rounded trusses. Each blossom starts with a uniquely reddish-pink bud that opens to a white interior with rose stripes, and distinct gold-orange blotch on the upper dorsal. Originally hybridized here in Oregon, this is such a beautiful and very fragrant azalea. We love it and we think you will too.

An upright grower, Big Frilly can reach up to 6' tall when mature, and is hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill. Blooms show as early as May and into summer. Our bloom photos were taken mid-June, right here in Oregon. Place in full sun to partial shade and enjoy the splendor!
