Podophyllum pleianthum

These incredible perennial plants feature giant glossy green leaves that reach up to 12" across. The unique foliage of pleianthum will bring eye-catching character to any garden. If you are looking for a conversation piece cultivar, this is it! Burgundy-maroon colored blossoms show themselves under the foliage canopy around May, depending on where planted. Pollenated blooms turn to apricot-shaped fruit later in the summer.

Podophyllum prefer well-draining soil, even moisture and somewhat shady growing environments. They are deer, slug and snail resistant, and can grow to about 3' tall x 3' wide. Hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
