Also known as Astra Blue Balloon Flower, this incredible perennial stands out with its brilliant blue blooms. The blossoms open up from ballon-shaped flowers that are colorfully accented with purple-violet veins throughout the summer. The rich green foliage makes an ideal backdrop for this spectacle of a display. Excellent for borders, mass planting, rock gardens, and container growing.

Astra Blue are easy to grow, place them about 10" apart in full sun to partial sun, and watch them grow up to about 12" tall x 16" wide. We recommend light pruning and clean up in early spring, after the last frost. Deer resistant and hardy to -30°F when protected from windchill.
