Scarlet O'Hara is an upright growing evergreen shrub that can reach 10' in height, and grow to to around 7' wide. These plants have glossy narrow rich green leaves, accented by scarlet new foliage, ruby stems, and attractive white bell flowers in spring. Excellent for larger hedgerows, mass plantings, accents, and urban landscapes.

Like most pieris, Scarlet O'Hara requires well-draining soil and they will not tolerate standing water. They are known to be deer resistant and prefer full sun to partial shade. Hardy to -15°F when protected from windchill.
