The name says it all in terms of the pink and white color combination on the ruffled flowers, which are accented with a great red freckle pattern on the dorsal. We love the crimson stems that lead to bright yellowish-green buds and spines that hoist the dark green leaves. Peppermint Twist has such a great color combo when it's not blooming.

Plant this mid-sized rhododendron in partial shade to full sun and anticipate blooms around April, depending on growing conditions. Peppermint Twist grows to about 4' tall at maturity. It is hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
