This great penstemon boasts a vibrant pink hue in its long trumpeted flowers and decorated throat pattern. This special plant is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. Usually reaching 2' tall and 2' wide, they grow well in full sun. Often blooming June through October, Hidcoat is rated to be hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill. 

Pro tip: Cut back to the crown in fall after blooms to promote strong growth in spring. Also, trim right after the first bloom is complete to stimulate repeat flowering.
