Such a uniquely attractive Oregano, Kent Beauty shows off a blend of pink blossoms and subtle green foliage, and it is even aromatic. We love the Origanum genus in general, but this perennial is exceptional. Delicate in appearance, this plant is actually quite durable and is an excellent choice for container growing, small areas such as rock gardens, borders and low growing areas as it only reaches about 8" tall and about 2' wide.
Kent Beauty has a sensitive root system and requires well-draining soil and plenty of sun. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill. Unlike some oreganos, this one is not for eating, but it is great for dried floral arrangements. Blooms throughout summer and into fall, depending on where it is planted.
