This fantastically vibrant hybrid rhododendron from Jim Barlup is one that stands out in any garden or landscape. It is challenging to propagate, so we usually only have a few available each year. Large, wavy saucer-shaped blossoms show off yellow, coral, orange and a dash of reddish pink. The trusses of Orange Prelude are an impressive spectacle, and simply dazzling.
Orange Prelude can grow to about 6' tall x 6' wide when mature. This cultivar prefers full sun to partial shade and is hardy to 5°F when protected from windchill.
