Monardella villosa 'Coyote Mint'

$26

Monardella villosa is an attractive small perennial with a delightful mint scent and showy lavender blooms in spring and summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees especially love these prolific blossoms and their abundant nectar. This plant has an excellent foliage that is evergreen, depending on growing conditions, and it is a great choice for container growing, borders, slopes, herb gardens and borders.

Native to California and Oregon, Coyote Mint is easy to grow, drought tolerant once established, and it is deer resistant. It grows up to 24" tall x 36" wide and has a nice compact growth habit that can be enhanced by light pruning in fall. It requires well-draining soil and prefers full sun to partial shade. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
