Don’t let the name scare you. This dwarf rhododendron has striking orange trumpet-like flowers against dark green foliage, which will quickly draw line of sight. It has a lax truss with flowers that hang to show off its brilliant array of colors.
The smaller size provides versatility in where it can grow. Medusa reaches about 3' tall at maturity. Just give it partial shade, water weekly, and watch for May blooms. Hardy to 5°F when protected from windchill.
