We love the excellent indumentum foliage of May Day for the same reasons we love Coral Breeze. The incredible texture of new growth is only the beginning of the character that comes from this dwarf hybrid rhododendron. The undersides of both plants show off a wonderful suede look and feel. Add in the bright orange-red blossoms with faint brown pattern and you have great plant for small growing areas.

Plant May Day in partial shade to full sun. It grows to 3' tall at maturity. Blooms usually start early-midseason. Cold hardy to 5°F when protected from windchill.
