Rocky Knoll Farm

Cotoneaster microphyllus Little-leaf 'Cooperi'

$30

Cooperi is a hardy broadleaf evergreen low-growing shrub that grows to about 6" tall and spreads to around 3' wide, and will continue up to 6' if allowed. It's nicely mounding tight growth habit makes this plant great for ground cover, slopes, edges and mass planting. The shiny green foliage adorn crimson stems for a nice texture and color combination. Small white blooms turn to red berries in late summer, which create additional character, and are attractive to birds.

This shrub is easy to grow, it is deer and rabbit resistant, and drought tolerant once established. It does like full sun, but can handle small amounts of shade. Cooperi is cold hardy to -20°F when protected from windchill.
