Rocky Knoll Farm

Daphne x medfordensis 'Lawrence Crocker'

$38

Lovely little Lawrence Crocker is a dwarf daphne with very fragrant purple-pink flowers that bloom in late spring and into early summer, depending on growing conditions. These exceptional cultivars are hard to find but we are proud to offer them at Rocky Knoll Farm, when we can keep them in stock! They are slow-growing (but fast-selling), and they make fantastic additions to small growing areas.

These lovely little evergreen shrubs are deer-resistant and have an attractive round growth habit that reaches around 1' tall x 1' wide at maturity. You will want to place them in well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade. They are hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill. Note that Daphne are generally drought tolerant once established, but they will require water for blooming season or it may reduce blooms.
