This special azalea with unique orange-scarlet blooms against rich evergreen foliage brings unique character to both gardens and landscapes. Koningin Wilhelmina is nearly impossible to find available in propagation, but we are proud to offer it at Rocky Knoll Farm. The flowers have a deep crimson pattern, and generally start showing around May, depending on growing conditions.
Koningin Wilhelmina grows to about 2' tall x 3' wide at maturity. It does well in full sun to partial shade. You will want to plant it in well-draining soil. It is hardy to 0°F when protected against windchill.
