Kondyke is a deciduous azalea with brilliant orange-yellow flowers that show in April and (mostly) May, depending on growing conditions. Our bloom photos were taken at the end of April. This is a very showy hybrid cultivar that draws attention in any garden or landscape.
Klondyke has an upright growth pattern, and it can reach 6' tall at maturity. It can do well in full sun to partial shade, and requires well-draining soil. Hardy to -20°F when protected from windchill.
