Ink Spot has a unique freckled beauty that really stands out. Its full, rounded trusses of purple, pink and white are adorned with a very distinct dark crimson pattern on the upper petals, and accented lightly on the bottom petals. This hybrid rhododendron catches the eye in any garden, especially when blooms show around April-May depending on growing conditions. Our bloom photos were taken mid-April.

Place this cultivar in full sun to partial shade. Ink spot can grow to around 4' tall at maturity. It is cold hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
