The full, rounded trusses of purple, pink and white are adorned with a very distinct dark crimson pattern on the upper petals, and accented lightly on the bottom petals. This hybrid rhododendron catches the eye in any garden, especially when blooms show around April-May depending where planted. Our bloom photos were taken mid-April. Place in full sun to partial shade. Ink spot can grow to around 4' tall and is cold hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
