Horizon Garnet

$32

Horizon Garnet is an uncommon hybrid rhododendron from Washington with deep red rounded trusses. Each blossom has a darker, yet subtle freckle pattern that emerges from the throat. The upward reaching stamens with white anthers provide a graceful and attractive character. This rhododendron can reach about 5' tall when mature, and does well in full sun to partial shade.

Blooms can occur April and into June, depending on growing conditions. Our bloom photos were taken here in Oregon at the very end of May. Place in full sun to partial shade. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
