Holden is a lovely dwarf hybrid rhododendron with robust magenta-pink conical trusses of ruffled blossoms. Its flowers have a very nice red freckled pattern that creates noticeable character. The dark green foliage creates excellent skirting for a plant that will stand out in your garden.
Holden grows to about 3' tall at maturity. It is hardy to -15°F when protected from wind chill. Blooms generally appear April-May depending on growing conditions.
