The colorful hose-in-hose purple blossoms of Herbert evergreen azalea have a great dark red pattern toward the throat of each flower. Bright green foliage create an incredible canvas for this lovely hybrid dwarf varietal. We love this one and recommend it for any garden.

Herbert is excellent for hedges or mass plantings, and it grows to about 4' tall x 4' wide at maturity. It is hardy to -5° F when protected from windchill. Herbert does well in full sun to partial shade and often blooms around April-May, depending on where it is planted.
