Greer's Snowbank

We got this vibrant hybrid rhododendron from the late Harold Greer. It is extremely rare and it never even made it into any of his rhododendron guidebook editions. We are proud to have it in cultivation at Rocky Knoll Farm. 

It's bright blooms of white have a very subtle pink hue. Greer's Snowbank has profuse flowers that make up full rounded trusses. Each blossom is accented by a bronze pattern on the upper dorsal for extra character. Blooming typically occurs April-May depending on growing condition (our bloom photos were taken late April). 

Greer's Snowbank has an upright growing condition that reaches around 6' tall x 5' wide at maturity. Place in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. There is no official cold hardiness rating for this plant, but it is thought to be hardy to around -5°F when protected from windchill.
