Geum 'Mai Tai' (Avens)

$26

Geum 'Mai Tai' is an herbaceous perennial that is excellent for rock gardens, borders, beds, urban growing, cut arrangements, and container growing. Lovely 1" diameter flowers of coral, orange, peach and pink petals surround a bright yellow center. The deep crimson stems and contrasting rich green foliage create a uniquely attractive character.

Butterflies, hummingbirds and bees all love this plant, yet it is deer and rabbit resistant. These are small beauties that top out at around 14" tall x 18" wide. We recommend cutting back spent flowers to stimulate new and more prolific blossoms. Blooming generally starts in spring and goes into summer.

Geum 'Mai Tai' does best in full to partial sun and requires well-draining soil. It is easy to grow and known to be disease resistant. Hardy to -15°F when protected against windchill.
