The pale buds of Fragrant Star open up around midseason to a white bloom with hints of yellow. The blossoms have a tubular funnel shape, and are indeed very fragrant! This special deciduous azalea grows to around 4' tall at maturity, and has a rounded growth habit. It does best in full sun to partial shade, and it requires well-draining soil. Cold hardy to -20°F when protected from windchill.
