Pink Muhly Grass 'Fast Forward' - Muhlenbergia capillaris

Fast Forward (also known as Pink Hair Grass) is an excellent choice for adding showy character and texture to gardens and landscapes. It's incredible feathery pink spikes start to show as early as July, depending on growing conditions, and lasts into fall. We think this ornamental grass provides a great winter interest as well. 

This plant is great for coastal and urban growing, borders, beds, and rock gardens. It an attractive mounding growth habit, that reaches up to 3' tall x 3' wide. 

Relatively easy to grow, this grass is salt and drought tolerant once established, deer resistant, and it is known to be disease resistant as well. It does best in full sun, but it can do well with a small amount of shade. You will definitely want to get it rooted in well-draining soil. Hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
