Escallonia 'Fradesii' (Escallonia x exoniensis 'Fradesii') is an attractive evergreen shrub with beautiful showy reddish-pink flowers and exceptional glossy foliage. As a bonus, its leaves emit a pleasant sweet fragrance! This great plant has a long blooming season that can start as early as spring and last through fall, depending on growing conditions. It is also attractive to butterflies and pollinators. 

Pink Princess has a dense growth habit that reaches up to 6' tall x 5' wide. It is an excellent choice for hedges and individual planting. This plant prefers slightly acidic soil and tolerates coastal conditions with environmental salt. It grows best in full sun to partial shade, and is hardy to 5°F when protected form windchill.
