Escallonia bifida 'Iveyi' (White Escallonia)

$26

A deep green, fast growing, and hardy evergreen shrub, White Escallonia is excellent for forming hedge walls. Its white blossoms with a hint of pink are fragrant and show throughout summer and into fall depending on growing conditions. Also good for screening and borders, this attractive plant can be pruned to form or let go for a more natural appeal. This splendid plant is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.

We recommend planting them about 28" apart to create a continuous form. White Escallonia does best in full sun but can tolerate light amounts of shade. It can grow well in coastal conditions and is both drought and heat tolerant once established, but does not like high amounts of humidity. If left to grow, they can reach almost 10' tall, and almost as wide when mature. Hardy to 15°F when protected from windchill.
