Rocky Knoll Farm

Erica cinerea Golden Hue Heath

$26

The colorful golden yellow foliage of this lovely shrub shows off great orange tips as fall turns to winter. Amethyst yellow bell-shaped blossoms come to life in summer, which brings out so much character and beauty. This is a great evergreen plant, and it is good for borders, mass planting, ground cover, container growing and accents.

We recommend pruning in spring after the last winter frost by cutting back tips but not the brown wood stems. Be sure to plant in well-draining soil, preferably acidic and in full sun. This is a small plant that only grows to about 1' tall, but can spread to over 2' wide. Deer resistant and hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill.
