Else Frye is a fragrant rhododendron with showy white and blended pink flowers that feature a yellow center. This lovely dwarf variety blooms around April and prefers partial shade. Avoid full sun in warm climate, and afternoon shade is best in hot temperatures. This lovely hybrid can grow to about 4' tall and is hardy to about 15°F when protected from windchill, but not recommended for freezing climates.
