This special hybrid rhododendron is sought after for its extraordinary tomentum that adorns the young foliage. Prized for the rich bronze color and texture, this foliage turns to a darker green, which creates an incredible canvas for the new indumentum covered leaves. Superb! The blossoms are a bright pinkish red/purple. We hope to have more photos with blossoms next spring. This plant can grow to about 5' tall and 5' wide. Give it full sun to partial shade. Hardy to 5° F when protected from windchill.
