Elizabeth Red Foliage

$32

Similar to Elizabeth rhododendron, Elizabeth Red Foliage flowers form more of a truss. Its unique red-bronze new foliage gives this great plant unique character. Also known as Ostbo Red, it does tend to bloom a bit later than Elizabeth. At the nursery we typically see Elizabeth start blooming in March and Elizabeth Red Foliage starts in mid-April.

Both have a similar growth habit that reach around 3' tall x 3' wide a maturity. Plant in well-draining soil and in full sun to partial shade. Hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill.
