This rhododendron has great foliage and a nice growth habit that can reach about 5' tall x 5' wide. Earl of Athlone has true bright red rounded trusses of 12+ blooms. It is a great cultivar that has been hybridized for a century or more, yet it is difficult to find available in contemporary propagation.
