Dorothy Gish (Rhododendron Dorothy Gish)
Special red hose-in-hose blooms with a deeper red pattern on the upper dorsal make Dorothy Gish a noticeably lovely addition to any garden or landscape. Flowers can show hues of orange as well. These unique evergreen azaleas can grow to over 6' tall and up to 6' wide. Blooms can open as early as March depending where planted, but this is generally a midseason bloomer.
Dorothy Gish is hardy to 0° F when protected from windchill. This azalea does will with full sun to partial shade, though we recommend morning sun and afternoon shade for warmer climates.
