Deutzia gracilis 'Nikko'

$27

Deutzia Nikko is an exceptional fragrant deciduous shrub with lovely white flowers that show throughout spring and into early summer, depending on growing conditions. The uniquely attractive green foliage and egg-shaped white buds provide fantastic character to gardens and landscapes. This low-growing shrub is a great choice for ground cover, slopes, edges, container growing, and beds. Butterflies love this plant.

Deutzia Nikko is versatile, easy to grow and deer resistant. It generally reaches about 2' tall x 3' wide at maturity. We recommend planting them about 3' apart, and light pruning after blooms are spent to stimulate an optimal growth habit. They like plenty of sun and can have a little bit of shade, especially in the afternoons for hot climates. Hardy to -25°F when protected from windchill.
