This rhododendron is pretty incredible. Open funnel light yellow flowers give way to peach edges and an orange beige flare. There is a lovely and subtle mauve hue on the buds that you can see carry over wonderfully to the edges of the petals for a perfect combination. Giving even more character is the bronze freckle pattern on the upper half of the blossoms.
This great combination provides a highlight in the garden and will generally grow to four foot shape in partial shade to full sun. Dappled Dawn blooms late mid-season and can grow to 4' tall. Hardy to -5°F when protected against windchill. This is one to fall in love with.
