Cynthia

If you like pink and you want to make a statement, you need look no further than exquisite blooms of Cynthia rhododendron. This special plant hybridized in England in the 1850's has large rosy-pink trusses and can grow as large as a tree. In our opinion, Cynthia is an underrated cultivar. It has incredible longevity and hardiness, and it can reach great size with an excellent growth habit. 

We recommend planting it with partial shade initially and plenty of room to grow over time. Water weekly and enjoy its bountiful blooms every April-May. This hybrid can grow to 7' tall at maturity, and will continue to grow. Hardy to -15°F when protected against windchill.
