Compacta is one of those plants that has incredible character even when it's not blooming. Bright green rounded leaves with yellow stems combine with the magenta-red buds for a primary color bust. The blossoms of this dwarf hybrid turn a light pink and white and usually show themselves around May. Hardy to -5°F when protected against windchill and grows to about 3' tall.
