This hybrid rhododendron shows pink and white flowers with yellow accents toward the center of the flower, and often accented with darker tones on the outside of the petals. It has a lovely fragrance and the foliage is dark green with tan velvet fuzz of indumentum.
Blooms start in April and this plant can be in partial shade to full sun. We love the character of the foliage. Coastal Spice can grow to 5' in height and is hardy to 10°F when protected against windchill.
