Rocky Knoll Farm
Bright purple-pink double flowers of this evergreen azalea usually open up around May-June, although our bloom photos were taken at the end of April. Blossoms have a red freckle pattern and can age to have a bright white throat. Hybridized right here in Oregon, Cayuga is a real beauty and does well in full sun to partial shade.
It is a dwarf varietal that only grows to 1.5' tall and 2' wide, so it is great as a color accent, also for rock gardens, planters, urban growing, and any small growing area. Hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill.
