Caryopteris 'Hint of Gold' has vivid bright golden green foliage with violet-blue "bearded" blossoms that show themselves in summer and into fall. This splendid shrub is loved by bees and hummingbirds, yet is deer and rabbit tolerant. It is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. 

Hint of Gold can be planted in so many configurations: borders, beds, patios, planters, slopes, rock gardens, coastal areas, and others. You will want to make sure these beauties have well-draining soil and plenty of sun. It can grow to about 3' tall and 3' wide and can even be used for colorful ground cover.
