Big bright red blossomed trusses adorn the big green leaves of this elepidote hybrid rhododendron. Note that new leaf growth has silver characteristics, which you can see in our foliage photos. This rhododendron can grow to 6' to round out the list of its big features.
If you like a lot of red, this can be a good choice for you as it is a late bloomer, extending the color in your garden throughout the season. Captain Jack is hardy to 0°F when protected against windchill. We recommend partial shade to full sun.
